Jon Zucarelli '77, CPA, was appointed director at Arcara Zucarelli Lenda & Straka CPAs.

Eugene Jordan '78, president of E.P. Jordan & Associates Inc., was designated a retirement income certified professional by The American College of Financial Services.

Gregory Hiczewski '79, CPA, founder and president of The Magellan Group, was appointed to the WNY Medical Group Management Association's board of directors.


Charles Swanekamp, MBA '80, partner at Jaeckle Fleischmann & Mugel LLP, was appointed to the Buffalo Niagara Sports Commission Advisory Council.

Lee Kitchen, MBA '81, professor at Tallahassee Community College, published the Chinese edition of his book, YOU! The Brand, Marketing the Individual, with China Fortune Press.

Sharon D. Randaccio '76, MBA '81, president and CEO of Performance Management Partners Inc., opened Red Siren, a women's specialty store, this summer at Buffalo's HarborCenter.

Arthur G. Wingerter '82, president at Univera Healthcare, was named a trustee of Daemen College.

Cheryl Duggan '83 was promoted to senior partner and chief financial officer at Eric Mower + Associates.

Joel Goldberg '81, MBA '83, was named director of human resources for Premio Foods.

Thomas Anderson, EMBA '04, vice president of environmental, health and safety at Noco Energy Corp., was appointed to the company's newly formed executive management leadership group.

Michael Leslie '04 was promoted to administrative vice president, financial analysis manager in M&T Bank's regulatory affairs and capital adequacy department.

Jennifer Balke '12 was appointed corporate development sales representative for WNED/WBFO.

Kyle Rogers '13, public relations specialist at HealthNow New York Inc., was appointed to the board of directors for the Advertising Club of Buffalo.

Grace Walker '13 was appointed assistant accountant at the Bonadio Group.

Jennifer Amico '14 also joined the Bonadio Group as assistant accountant.

Emily Baczynski '14 was appointed business development director by City Dining Cards, a customer loyalty company.

Jennifer Basile, PhD '14, was named associate vice president of data analytics and system integration at Erie Community College.

Renee Cerullo, CEL '14, president of RLComputing, began her term as president of New York State Women Inc.

Joseph Chow, EMBA '14, MD, was promoted to president of TeamHealth Urgent Care.

Jesse Koester '14 joined the management development program at Will Foods.

Brett Perla, MBA '14, was named an analyst for Crowley Webb, a marketing communications agency.

Joshua Seward '14, MS '15, was selected for a prestigious postgraduate technical assistantship with the Financial Accounting Standards Board.

Spotlight: Rochester-area alumni honored

Three School of Management alumni were honored by the Rochester Chapter of the UB Alumni Association at its inaugural awards ceremony in June.

Craig J. Jerabeck '83, MBA '84, was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognizes sustained accomplishments that are widely recognized for their significance. Jerabeck is founder, president and CEO of 5LINX Enterprises. (Read more about Jerabeck in this issue's cover story.)

J. Michael Colyer, MBA '96, accepted the Distinguished Alumni Award, which recognizes exceptional career accomplishments, research or scholarly activity. Colyer serves as chief procurement officer and vice president of global strategiec sourcing at VWR International.

Christopher P. Diehl, PharmD/MBA '12, clinical pharmacist at Lifetime Health Medical Group's Joseph C. Wilson Center, received the Young Alumni Award in recognition of his successful career path, ambitious personality and leadership in the workplace.
